FAQs

A little more clarity.

The condition, the membership, your data and what comes next.

THE CONDITION

Are PMOS and PCOS the same condition?

Yes. Polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS) is the new name for polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), announced in May 2026. The name reflects that the condition is hormonal and metabolic rather than only ovarian. Both names will be in use for a few years, so we use both.

Who is Plimr for?

Women with PMOS (PCOS) and insulin resistance who want specific, practical support with the lifestyle side of their health. It suits you if you would rather be told what to do this week than read more general advice, and if you are looking for something ongoing rather than a reset.

Do I need a diagnosis before joining?

No. Many women live with symptoms for years before anyone names them. Bloodwork is part of building your picture, and your results are yours to take to your doctor.

Will Plimr work if my symptoms are mild?

Plimr is built around the everyday management side, whatever the severity. Your plan comes from your own results and routines, so a milder picture simply means a different starting point. No one can honestly promise outcomes for a condition like this, and we do not.

WHAT MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES

What does membership include?

A personalized plan across nutrition, movement, recovery and mind, bloodwork to build and update it, daily guidance you can act on, a written weekly read of how things are going, and a private community. Full inclusions and pricing are published before membership opens.

How much does it cost?

The annual price, payment options and full inclusions are published before membership opens. Joining the waitlist is free, and waitlist members keep founding pricing when they join.

Is this a short program?

No. Plimr is an annual membership built for ongoing support. Reviews and adjustments are milestones inside it rather than an end point. Metabolic health is not a twelve-week problem.

Can I cancel?

You can cancel within 30 days of joining for a full refund. After that, membership runs to the end of your term. Full membership terms, including how cancellation works, are published before membership opens.

Are supplements included?

No, and Plimr does not sell them. If something is worth considering, it is explained as part of your plan and you decide whether to buy it.

Do I need a wearable?

No. A wearable adds detail on sleep and activity and makes the daily check-in faster. Without one you share how you are doing directly, and the plan works the same way.

TESTING

How is my panel decided?

There is no fixed panel. What gets measured comes from your history, your symptoms and what is already known about you, so you test what is relevant to your case rather than paying for a longer list. For insulin resistance that usually includes markers routine bloodwork skips, such as fasting insulin and HOMA-IR alongside glucose.

Can I use existing bloodwork?

Often, yes. If your recent results already cover what your plan needs, they are used. If they do not, the missing tests are arranged, and you know which ones before anything is booked.

Where do I get tested?

Testing is arranged through a partner laboratory. Locations and how booking works are confirmed before you join.

YOUR PLAN AND WHO MAKES IT

Who designs my protocol?

Plimr's clinical team. Your protocol is built from your profile and your results by qualified clinicians, and it is adapted as your check-ins and later results come in. Plimr works on the lifestyle side of your care, so diagnosis and medication stay with your own doctor.

Is Plimr a medical service?

Plimr works on the lifestyle side of your health: nutrition, movement, recovery and mind, built from your own results. It does not replace your doctor and it is not for urgent symptoms. Anything that needs examining or treating belongs with a clinician who can do both.

Does Plimr prescribe medication?

No. Prescribing stays with your own doctor. Plimr is built around what you do day to day, which is the part of care that usually goes unsupported.

How much time does this take each day?

Anywhere from about ten seconds to a minute. With a wearable connected, most of the day's data arrives on its own. If you want to record more detail, symptoms, meals, how a session went, you can. You decide how much you put in.

What if I miss a few days?

Nothing breaks. The plan is built to be picked back up rather than restarted. That is what the weekly read is for: it shows you where things slipped and gives you one place to begin again, instead of a clean slate and a guilty conscience.

YOUR DATA

What data does Plimr collect?

Four things: your bloodwork, the information you share when you sign up, data from a wearable if you connect one, and what you record in your daily check-ins. All of it is used to build and adapt your plan.

Who can see my health data?

Your data is used to build and adapt your plan, and it is visible to you and the Plimr team working on it. It is not sold, and it is not shared for advertising. We use a small number of providers to run the membership, and our privacy policy explains what they do.

Can I export or delete my data?

Yes. You can request a copy of your data, or ask for it to be deleted, at any time. For more details, please review our privacy policy.

What do I share with the community?

Only what you choose. Joining the community does not publish your results, your bloodwork or your plan. Nothing is shared automatically. Participation is entirely voluntary.

GETTING STARTED

Can I start now?

Not yet. Membership opens in stages and the waitlist is how you get in. Joining is free and takes a minute.

What happens after I join the waitlist?

You are asked a few optional questions so we understand who is waiting and what they need. When membership opens for your group you hear from us first, with the full details and pricing before you decide anything.

Where is membership available?

Membership opens first in Spain. Availability elsewhere follows, and the waitlist is where it is announced first.

What does the first month look like?

You complete your profile, your bloodwork is either brought in or arranged, and your first plan arrives across the four pillars. The early weeks are about finding what fits your life rather than doing everything at once. Your first weekly reads start building the picture that later adjustments come from.
